US exports on the rise

Surprisingly during the Christmas season, US exports are on the rise. Its been a tough year of all businesses especially those doing business internationally.

According to local reports exports are on the rise at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach– the US’s two largest shipping ports. What does that mean for the end of the year? How does 2010 look? What can we do to grow our businesses internationally?

Exports are rising and even in November (our biggest importing month of the year…. yes due to Christmas) imports are on the decline. Is this a sustainable trend?

The Los Angeles Times looks at this trend in one of their recent articles. I thought you might find it interesting.
